Kathryn is the founder of the Teacher Empowerment Project. The project enables teachers to reconnect with their worth, purpose and find fulfilment in their careers. As well as working with individual teachers, the project works with charities, universities, and companies to support teachers and, in turn, have a positive impact on the students that they teach.
Kathryn is also a co-owner of Grow Tuition, a tuition centre that works with schools to support pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds and those with English as an additional language. A graduate of the University of Manchester, Kathryn holds a BA Hons in English and American Literature, an MA in Post 1900 Theory and Culture and a PGCE in Secondary English - which she taught for ten years. Kathryn also sits on the board of the Calderdale and Kirklees WomenCentre and the advisory board of Let’s Localise.
