We are pleased to deliver this year’s Migrant Leaders Education Conference on Saturday 20th June delivered as a live digital workshop. In particular we are delighted to continue our collaborations with Varsity Scholars Kate Kettle and Hjalti Rognvaldsson training our young people on university applications, communication and presentation skills. On 5^th March 2020 the Founder & CEO of Migrant Leaders delivered a talk about Diverse Talent on the main stage at the SHE Conference in Oslo, Norway. The SHE Conference is the largest Gender Equality Conference in Europe bringing together more than 3000 delegates and leaders from corporates, politics, social enterprises and diverse backgrounds to gain perspectives and collaborate. We are energised by the conference we delivered with Kantar Consulting to the talented young Mentees on our Migrant Leaders development programme. This impactful conference included presentations, communications training, Virtual Reality demos, EVA and cultural insights among the many other features of this differentiated quality experience for our deserving young people. This ‘consulting in creative industries’ conference truly widened horizons, linking their strengths to careers ranging from customer analytics to branding. We are proud of the STEM conference we delivered with Smith & Nephew to the talented young Mentees on our Migrant Leaders development programme. This valuable conference included presentations, Speed STEM sessions, product demos and tours of the surgical training facilities among the many other features of this dynamic quality experience for our deserving young people. Our STEM Employers Programme seeks to bring hands on quality experiences and insights to our Mentees and to inspire them by a variety of STEM careers. In October 2019 we launched the Migrant Leaders Digital Zone, sharing our charity's impact and resources with young people across the country. We are particularly proud of our Young Leader Model we developed so that young people from underrepresented backgrounds can build the success characteristics needed to fulfil their potential and become sustainable leaders.

We are delighted to launch our Leaders Like Us campaign at Migrant Leaders. Our ‘Leaders Like Us’ campaign of interviews with our mentors is an opportunity to share their career stories, tips and hints with all our mentees and young people across the country. We would like to help young people of all backgrounds feel inspired to succeed, gain insights and access to a diverse set of leaders they feel they can relate to.

The Young Leaders Panel response to her talk on the State of Corporate Diversity Today was that this is their opportunity to shape corporate diversity of tomorrow. This conference helps our Young Mentees imagine a future without barriers. We achieve this by bringing together our Mentees and Mentors in this conference with an exciting agenda of speakers, discussion panel, Q&A and networking session. Our Mentees gain an opportunity to speak directly with multiple Mentors from a wide range of companies and technical fields. Importantly, they gain exposure and feel comfortable with imagining a future at these companies.
